Vitebsk Region State Traffic Inspectorate has held 300 pedestrians accountable for violating traffic rules in two days

In the Vitebsk Region, 300 pedestrians have been brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules in two days, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Over the past two days, January 11 and 12, 25 traffic accidents with material damage were registered on the roads of the region, 20 of which were in the regional center. Six drunk drivers and 25 unlicensed drivers were detained.

300 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules. Of these, 30 were in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication , 112 - without reflective elements.

"Dear road users! Be extremely careful and cautious on the road! The State Traffic Inspectorate once again reminds of the need for strict compliance with traffic rules by all road users," the State Traffic Inspectorate emphasized.
