Rye bread, prepared according to the original recipe, is considered the most beneficial for the body, said dietitian Elena Solomatina in an interview with the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper.
The specialist recommended that when buying a healthy product, check the composition: according to her, manufacturers often bake rye bread from wheat FLOUR with the addition of dyes, without using rye flour. At the same time, there should not be a lot of ingredients for preparing the product: the simpler the composition, the better the bread, enough flour, water and SALT. Oriental breads are traditionally prepared in this way - pita, Indian puri and Mediterranean pita. Bread with bran will also be useful, Solomatina noted. She added that it is better to choose a product baked not from high-quality flour, but peeled or second-class.
Earlier, nutritionist Marina Vaulina said that the most harmful MEAT for the body is with a long shelf life and in vacuum packaging. This also applies to elite imported types of the product, the expert noted: in order not to deteriorate during long-term transportation, preservatives are often added to them. The National Meat Association questioned these words, noting that they are not supported by any research.
Deputy DIRECTOR for Research at the Research Institute of the Meat Industry named after Gorbatova Anastasia Semenova told RBC that it makes no sense to introduce preservatives into vacuum packaging, since it by itself protects the product from spoilage. Meat producers agree with this statement: in the Cherkizovo group, this method of storage was called one of the most progressive.
