On January 17, in Kaluga, Governor Vladislav Shapsha and the HEAD of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office for the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions Svetlana Zemchenkova discussed joint work to ensure the quality of products and the safety of the regional agro-industrial complex. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Agriculture Leonid Gromov.
Svetlana Zemchenkova noted the professionalism of the regional management team, thanks to which the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor manages to quickly resolve all issues at the level of deputy governors, management and specialists of the regional ministry of agriculture. As an example, she cited the successful work to eliminate foci of African swine fever in the region in a difficult epizootic situation in the country.
Vladislav Shapsha focused on the fact that the agricultural sector is one of the leading ones in the regional economy. At the same time, he emphasized that among the priority tasks of the industry is increased attention to sanitary control: “I believe that together we will take comprehensive measures for this. it is important for us to maintain the stable development of the agricultural industry.” The Governor expressed confidence that cooperation with the regional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor would continue to develop, especially in connection with the transfer of the department's head office to our region.
