Winter crops are being actively fed in the Orenburg region

For seasonal field work in 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA confirmed the need for mineral fertilizers in the Orenburg region in the amount of 127.6 thousand tons in physical weight (13 kg per 1 hectare of sown area).
For the 2022 harvest, after November 1, 64.7 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers in physical weight, or 51% of the annual plan, were purchased.
This year it is planned to feed 265.4 thousand hectares of winter crops, today 73% (194 thousand hectares) have been fed. Feeding of winter crops will continue through leaf vegetation.
Simultaneously with top dressing, work is underway to close moisture on fallows and fallows, harrowing of winter and perennial grasses. To date, 2.1 million hectares have been fenced - 78% (planned - 2.7 million hectares).
In Akbulaksky, Belyaevsky, Ileksky, Tashlinsky districts, Sol-Iletsk and Sorochinsky urban districts, moisture was closed over the entire planned area.
