Another 649 people infected with coronavirus on Don per day

Another 649 laboratory-confirmed new cases of infection with covid-19 cases were registered on the Don over the past day. This was reported by the information policy department of the Don government.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, on the morning of November 8, the cumulative number of cases of COVID-19 reached 161,244. Over the entire period, 136,625 people recovered in the region, 583 people per day. 5324 patients receive treatment in hospitals. 51 people are in serious condition on invasive mechanical ventilation, 395 people are on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Over the past day, 20 more deaths were recorded among patients with CORONAVIRUS. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7963 have become victims of COVID-19.

“To date, more than 1.72 million people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection, 6481 per day. More than 1.64 million people have completed vaccination (double administration of the vaccine), 1100 per day,” the department said.
