The State Duma will clarify the rules for issuing veterinary certificates

The bill amends the Federal Law “On Veterinary Medicine” and clarifies the cases when it is required to register VSD: during the production and movement or transportation of regulated goods, as well as when transferring ownership of it.

The authority of the Ministry of Agriculture to approve VSD forms – in electronic form and on paper – is also clarified.

In addition, the document proposes to enshrine in the Law “On Veterinary Medicine” a description of the process of issuing a veterinary certificate, that is, to prescribe what it directly involves, namely, what information needs to be entered into the VSD forms.

Additionally, the bill clarifies the sections that should be contained in the rules for issuing electronic veterinary certificates: about the types of VSD, errors in their execution, as well as about the procedures for cancellation and cancellation.
