July 21, MINSK The Lipki dairy complex for 1,000 heads was opened in the Logoisk district, BelTA informs.
The complex, which is part of the SC "Logoisk" of RUE "Belorusneft-Minskoblnefteprodukt", was opened today in the village of Lipki. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Agriculture Igor Brylo, First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Sergei Levkovich, DIRECTOR of RUE "Belorusneft-Minskoblnefteprodukt" Anatoly Korotky and Chairman of the Logoysk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Lasevich.Igor Brylo stressed that the HEAD of state set the task of moving from outdated tethered keeping of livestock to modern complexes within a five-year period. The ITC in Lipki is one of the examples of the work carried out in the Minsk region in this direction.
The complex can be considered the pride of not only the SC "Logoisk", but also the district, region. Its area is almost 21 hectares. Construction took place over almost two years - from 2021 to 2023.
The complex has two cowsheds for 480 loose cows each and a milking and milking unit. The complex also includes a barn for 250 dry cows with a maternity ward and a milking unit, a dispensary for calves for 250 places, a calf house for 200 places, an office building, auxiliary and storage facilities, trenches for silage and haylage.
"In fact, this is a small MILK production plant with a full production cycle and in one place," the farm said.
Welfare rooms were built for employees, equipped with modern equipment for catering, washing and disinfection of overalls.
One of the main tasks for livestock breeders of agricultural enterprises is the formation of a future highly productive herd. Therefore, it is planned to equip the dairy farm with the best heifers and pay special attention to the selection and reproduction of dairy cattle and the conditions for keeping young cattle .
