news This enterprise in the Kamenets district is one of the best in the Brest region. And 2025 is an anniversary year for it - the farm turns 75 years old. How they celebrate this beautiful date at AgroNiva OJSC - read in our material. How it all developed The history of the enterprise began in 1950, when private peasant farms united into the Dzerzhinsky
collective farm . In 2003, it was renamed into SPK AgroNiva, and after the merger of SPK Omelenets and Polovtsy, it was transformed into an open joint-stock company.
Today, AgroNiva is a large farm specializing in livestock and crop production. Of the 8 livestock farms, which contain 7 thousand heads
of cattle ,
MILK is obtained at two - the dairy complex in Dolbizno and the dairy farm in Omelenets, where there are 2,450 heads of dairy herd. Milk yields are decent. Each
cow produces almost 27 liters of milk per day. It should be noted that this figure is growing from year to year, and the raw material is exclusively extra grade. Every day, 63 tons of the highest quality milk are sent to the processing company SOAO Belovezhskie Syry.
The volumes of beef production are also impressive - 1,334 tons were sold to AgroNiva last year. Today, the average daily weight gain of young animals is 827 grams.
The farm's territory is 8,174 hectares of agricultural land, including 6,000 hectares of arable land. Half of the farm's sown area is occupied by grain and leguminous crops, a third - by forage. The rest is for rapeseed and
SUGAR beet. Thanks to a competent approach and modern technologies, the harvests are pleasing. Last year, however, the weather was not kind to the farmers, and the drought spoiled the indicators. But despite the climatic "surprises", grain was harvested at 41.2 c/ha, rapeseed - 28.7 c/ha, sugar beet - 478 c/ha. They earned 39 thousand rubles in cash proceeds from the sale of agricultural products. Profitability was 13.4%.
The HEAD of everything The management of JSC "AgroNiva" is distinguished by enviable consistency. Viktor Bobr has been at the helm of the enterprise for a quarter of a century. He took over the farm when he was only 28 years old. He has a diploma in agronomy, experience as a seed grower and chief agronomist, and a desire to constantly grow.
The DIRECTOR improved his qualifications in courses, received two more higher educations in absentia - in law and economics. In addition, he had one important trait for a manager - he never ran away from difficulties. And he knows firsthand what it is like to start life from scratch. I am from Novogrudok district, I came to Kamenets region after graduating from agricultural university in Grodno together with my family. We lived in a hostel, at first the salary was - it is embarrassing to name the amount... But I did not leave the agricultural sector.
Collective farm, which was entrusted to Viktor Bobr, was in an unenviable state in 2000. Empty warehouses, fuel shortages, lack of funds and lame discipline. When he began to restore order, there were predictions that the staff would run away due to the strict requirements. But the workers not only did not leave, but also understood that the manager’s messages were fair. If you want to earn good money, you have to roll up your sleeves.
During Viktor Bobr’s management of the farm, the area of agricultural land increased almost threefold. The annexed agricultural production cooperatives Omelenets and Polovtsy also managed to reach gross indicators. The modernization of dairy production was a huge step forward. Small farms were closed, the rest were reconstructed and repurposed. If, for comparison, in 2009, AgroNiva had 12 livestock farms and 11 of them produced milk, today the dairy herd is concentrated on two sites - in Dolbizno and Omelenets, and the remaining six are engaged in raising young animals.
A small feed mill has also appeared in the structure of OJSC AgroNiva. Thanks to it, the farm covers its needs for feed for all types of cattle, except for calves up to 3 months. Grain drying complexes, garages have been built, machine yards have been landscaped. The farm invested its own
money in the construction . The state also provided financial support, and credit resources were attracted.
In general, if you compare the enterprise then and now, it is like night and day. Judge for yourself. In the early 2000s, only 3 liters of milk were received from a cow per day. Today, milk yields are 9 times more. The yield of cereals hardly reached 20 c/ha, and today the average for the farm is about 50 c/ha. As the economy grew, salaries grew, living and working conditions of the farm workers improved, and in all settlements located on the territory of the enterprise, the infrastructure was strengthened every year.
There is a place to relax and kick a ball At JSC "AgroNiva" they are constantly building housing, especially in the agro-town of Dolbizno - the "heart" of the farm. Over 25 years, more than 60 comfortable modern cottages with all the amenities have been built here with state support and at their own expense. Several years ago, they were all gasified, and at the expense of the agricultural enterprise. Today, specialists and workers of the farm live in all the houses.
The average salary in May 2025 is 2,500 rubles.
In addition, all social facilities that allow employees and their families to live a full life and spend their leisure time operate on the territory of OJSC AgroNiva. There is a secondary school, 2 kindergartens, 2 Orthodox churches, 3 rural cultural centers, 2 first aid posts, and a canteen. The farm pays great attention to creating conditions for a healthy lifestyle and sports. Few agro-towns can boast a fitness center with modern exercise machines and a stadium for a thousand fans, but Dolbizno has one. Moreover, OJSC employees visit them for free. They are also taken to swim in
swimming pool located in the district center, and go skating at the Brest Ice Palace.
But the highlight of the social component of OJSC AgroNiva is that today it is the only agricultural enterprise in the country that has its own professional football team. The sports team has achieved significant success. The Niva team is the winner of the Belarusian championship among teams of the 2nd league-2022, and in
2024 took 3rd place among teams of the 1st league.
- I am the father of three children, including two sons, and I know very well how important it is to get children interested in sports from childhood, - explains Viktor Bobr. - The more of our employees will lead
healthy lifestyle , the stronger our team will be. Hundreds of fans gather for Niva matches. These are not only local adults and
children , but also residents of neighboring villages, as well as Vysokoye, Kamenets. They even come from the regional center. The matches are broadcast on the YouTube channel.
Today, about 300 people are employed in the economy of the farm. They celebrate the anniversary of OJSC AgroNiva with confidence that the modern village has a future.
