The State Security Committee revealed details of a corruption scheme in the dairy industry

November 14, MINSK . Employees of the State Security Committee stopped a large-scale illegal scheme, which was organized by officials of dairy enterprises and representatives of commercial structures. A BELTA correspondent was informed about this by the State Security Committee.

In January 2020, state security agencies received primary operational information about the existence of a corruption scheme for the acquisition of liquid products from MILK processing enterprises at reduced prices for subsequent sale in RUSSIA. Questionable schemes for selling products from Babushkina Krynka OJSC , which were organized by Skitov, who was appointed DIRECTOR in September 2019, came into view .

After his appointment, one of Skitov’s first instructions was to install video cameras in his office and reception area. In addition, employees had to communicate with him exclusively through instant messengers. Skitov prohibited representatives of government agencies from visiting the enterprise without his knowledge. In front of the team, he positioned himself as an “authority from the 90s.”

He formed his own team of managers from among relatives and former subordinates, a new sales policy, and also completely closed the financial flows to himself.

A significant part of Babushkina Krynka’s highly liquid dairy products (about 50% of cheeses and butter) began to be sold through Skitov’s close relationship with Sirutem, the HEAD of a number of affiliated companies.
