New Continent LLC has developed technical conditions for classifying livestock by-products as fertilizer of animal origin (manure) for the purpose of further sale.

Livestock by-products are substances formed during the keeping of farm animals, including manure, droppings, bedding, and wastewater. PPZ can be used in agricultural production to increase soil fertility, and can also be sold as raw materials for the production of agricultural products.

The samples will be examined for compliance with the requirements of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 31, 2022 No. 1940 “On approval of requirements for the circulation of animal by-products”: for the mass concentration of toxic element impurities (gross content) and the mass concentration of pesticide residues in dry matter, the presence of pathogenic and disease-causing microorganisms, including salmonella, viable eggs and larvae of helminths, cysts of intestinal pathogenic protozoa.

Based on the results of the research, test reports will be issued to business entities.

We remind business entities that livestock by-products are fertilizers of animal origin, according to the “List of controlled goods subject to accompanying veterinary documents”, approved by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated December 18, 2015 No. 648. This means that when transported by road this cargo must be accompanied by a veterinary accompanying document, executed in FSIS "VetIS" in electronic form, indicating all reliable information about the product:

  • name of the controlled product;
  • the name and address of the manufacturer of the batch of regulated goods, the name and address of the production facility at which the batch of regulated goods was produced;
  • purpose of the batch of controlled goods (the purpose(s) of production of the batch of controlled goods);
  •  date of production of a batch of controlled goods, volume (quantity) of a batch of products.

The results of laboratory tests are entered into the EVSD; in the absence of such studies, livestock by-products are not allowed for transportation and sale.
