The costs of Ukrainian farmers for the production of products in January-February 2021 increased by an average of 26.4% year on year.

Especially noticeable is the increase in the cost of production in the livestock sector, where the costs of producers in the first two months increased by 40.1% compared to the same period last year. In crop production, the corresponding figure was 20.4%. The costs of agricultural enterprises for material and technical resources (MTR) increased by 19.7% over the year.

Over the month, from the beginning of January to the beginning of February, costs increased by an average of 6.6%: in crop production - by 7.7%, in animal husbandry - by 3.6%, and in materials and equipment - by 9.5%.
