Rosselkhoznadzor has identified over 50 violations in the keeping of small cattle in Karachay-Cherkessia

For example, unsafe conditions were found in the peasant farm of Korkmazov M.Kh. (Ust-Dzhegutinsky district, Kyzyl-Kala village): the farm territory is not fenced, the entrance to the premises for animals is not equipped with a disinfection mat, there is no manure storage facility. Violations were recorded at the slaughterhouse of OOO Nasi (Cherkessk), including the presence of unnecessary materials and non-compliant floor coverings , as well as the lack of storage space for products. In addition, it was established that unidentified animals were sent for slaughter.

The violations identified may lead to the spread of infectious diseases that pose a danger to both livestock and humans. During the inspections, 40 orders were issued to eliminate the deficiencies and 56 administrative violation reports were drawn up, of which 35 were under Article 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, 14 under Article 10.8, and 7 under Article 14.43. A "phantom" site of the private farm of Sh.Sh. Dyurmenov, which does not deal with livestock, was also discovered, and an appeal was sent to the Veterinary Department to exclude it from the Cerberus system registry.
