
The largest duck production enterprise in RUSSIA is reaching its planned design capacity. This year, 20,000 tons of red deli MEAT will be put on the market by the Millerovsky poultry plant. And among other achievements, we managed to grow our own feathered broodstock.
250 km from Rostov appeared its own white sea. Fluffy waves slowly sway and grunt. 35 thousand ducklings live only in this poultry house, there are 10 such buildings on the site between Millerovo and Veshenskaya, and in total there are 40 in the district. The snow-white duck, although it is called Beijing, is Russian. Here, whatever one may say, what was the first: the duck, the egg and the duckling - everything is domestic. But the standards for keeping poultry are world-class.
A duck, although not a capricious bird, has strong immunity, which means there are fewer vaccinations, but its breeding is an exact science. The buildings have automated control of humidity, ventilation, lighting, for each age - its own temperature and, of course, food.
Feed is produced in our own factory. One such granulator immediately grinds 10-12 tons of grain. In order to feed the entire population of the New Duck Farms to the full , ten times more is needed per day - 120 tons. As a result, with proper care, in just 41 days, each bird gains weight of three kilograms.
Mikhail Pleshanov, DIRECTOR of New Duck Farms (GK Damate ): “Our plans are to significantly increase the volume and produce 19 thousand tons of duck meat. This became possible thanks to reaching 100% of the design capacity and revising the cultivation technology.”
For example, they created their own parent herd here. These are 18 more buildings where white ducks live, which lay golden eggs. For a year and a half of work, the company paid more than 240 million rubles in taxes and deductions to various budgets.
Oleg Kovalenko, HEAD of the administration of the Millerovsky district: “The enterprise, with its tax deductions, creation of new jobs, increase in capacity, agricultural production indicators, duck meat, of course, makes a significant contribution to the general treasury of the district and the region.”
White duck grown on the Don is cooked throughout Russia, in the Commonwealth countries, the United Arab Emirates and even in Africa.
