The Virt group of companies is building the Turkey Altai poultry complex

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the cost of the investment project is estimated at 3.5 billion rubles. The poultry factory in the Tselinny region of the Altai Territory, designed to produce 6.4 thousand tons of turkey MEAT per year, is planned to reach its design capacity in two and a half years.

One of the main activities of Virt LLC is breeding and fattening beef cattle (Hereford breed). Five years ago, SPK Druzhba, part of the association, launched a mini-plant where animals are slaughtered and beef processed. 

The founder and HEAD of the Virt group of companies, Pavel Beyfort, decided to create a new division from scratch based on research from the National Association of Turkey Producers (NAPI), indicating a multiple increase in demand for this type of poultry meat in the last five years. The capacities of companies developing turkey farming are concentrated mainly in the European part of RUSSIA. The core assets of large agro-industrial holdings closest to the Altai Territory are located in the Omsk and Tyumen regions.
