Drunk driver in Minsk was running away from the traffic police: the violator was detained

January 30, MINSK. Employees of the Partizan department of the traffic police on Vaupshasova Street in Minsk pursued a drunk driver. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Tonight, at about 1.40, traffic police inspectors noticed a car-sharing Volkswagen, which was following Vaupshasova Street. The car was driven by a 24-year-old man. Stopping at the request of the traffic police, he jumped out of the car and tried to escape. Soon he was arrested by the police. During the arrest, the young man resisted, he had signs of ALCOHOL intoxication .The results of the medical examination showed that the violator's body contained 1.2 ppm of alcohol.
The state traffic inspectorate reminds that driving while intoxicated is unacceptable and is potentially dangerous for all road users.
