Belarusian track and field athletes won two golds and a silver at the Orenburg Mile

Our Vitaly Parakhonko, as well as Maxim and Elvira Graborenko, the leaders of the national team in the sprint and hurdle disciplines, took part in the competition. At a distance of 60 m hurdles, Parakhonko won - in the semi-final the Belarusian showed the best seconds in his career (7.67), and in the final he updated his personal best (7.63) and won gold. In the same type of program, women had no equal to Elvira Graborenko, whose champion time was 8.06 seconds. Elvira's husband Maxim competed in the smooth 60m race - in the final the Belarusian lost only four hundredths of a second to the Russian Yaroslav Tkalich and finished second. Graborenko's result of 6.71 seconds was a repetition of his personal record.
