According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA, the EXPORT of agricultural products of the Tambov region in January 2022 amounted to 10.4 million US dollars (in comparable prices). With this indicator, the region holds the 5th place in the Central Federal District in terms of exports of agricultural products.
During the first month of the new year, Tambov region exported the most MEAT products - by 3.5 million US dollars. Beans, soybeans, bran and other agricultural products were sent to foreign countries for 3.4 million US dollars. SUGAR, molasses, FLOUR were exported for 3.2 million US dollars. In addition, in January, the region actively exported vegetable oil.
This work was carried out within the framework of the regional project "Export of agricultural products" of the Tambov region.
“The export of agricultural products in the Tambov region in 2021 amounted to almost 248 million US dollars (in comparable prices), - said the HEAD of the region Maxim Egorov. - At the end of last year, the region exceeded the target in terms of exports of these products by 4%. The production of agricultural products is increasing due to the use of modern technologies, the range is expanding. This allows us to provide high-quality products not only to the domestic market of the region, but also to increase supplies abroad.”
