Symptoms of covid-19 are becoming more and more similar to flu and SARS, mostly with a sore throat and runny nose, while loss of taste and smell have become more rare. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Professor Natalya Pshenichnaya, Deputy DIRECTOR for Clinical and Analytical Work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor.

“In 30-50% of cases, diarrhea and other problems from the gastrointestinal tract (gastrointestinal tract.) began to occur at the onset of the disease,” she said.

According to Pshenichnaya, the infection, even after recovery, the infection can still multiply in the intestines, while in some people it is found in the intestines even several months after recovery.
