Experts noted an increase in the number of Russians with microloans

According to the results of the second quarter of this year, there were 11.9 million active borrowers in RUSSIA in microfinance organizations. Of these, 7.1 million people applied for online loans. A year earlier, there were 9 million people in the Russian Federation with active microloans, of which 4.8 million contracts were issued using the Internet, according to a study by the self-regulatory organization MiR.

The total portfolio of all microfinance organizations included in the SRO "MiR", according to the results of the second quarter of this year, amounted to 215.6 billion rubles, over the year it grew by more than a third.

According to the Central Bank, in the first quarter of this year, microfinance organizations registered in the Novosibirsk region issued 3 million online loans for 26 billion rubles, which was a record for all regions of the Russian Federation both in terms of number and volume of issuance.

In the first quarter of this year, residents of the Novosibirsk region took 73% more money than in the same period last year. At the same time, the number of online loans issued by Novosibirsk residents increased by 1.5 times.
