Poultry farming development in Sevastopol: farmers receive state support

One of the city farms, created three years ago, became a pilot project supported by the relevant department. Poultry farming has proven itself as a promising area for the region, allowing a significant number of birds to be bred in a small area. Currently, the farm raises about two thousand broiler chickens and about a thousand ducks annually in several cycles. Meat production volumes continue to increase: from 13 tons in 2023, they will reach 25-26 tons by the end of 2025 thanks to 5 million rubles of state support received, as reported by Lyudmila Maksakova, director of the Sevastopol Center for Agricultural Competence.
