Ostankino meat processing plant produces brisket with Listeria monocytogenes

As follows from the unified register of inspections, the company is required to adjust the concept that provides for the regular identification, assessment and management of hazardous factors affecting product safety. In particular, the requirement concerns pork belly, which did not pass the microbiological test (Listeria monocytogenes). The department asks to systematically conduct research in laboratories.

Just a week before, representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor had already sent a warning with a request to strengthen control over the quality of food products. The companies were also reminded to comply with sanitary standards and the inadmissibility of producing products from frozen meat and poultry meat that has been defrosted during storage.
