January 16, Minsk. In Minsk, a drunk driver ran into a lighting tower. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The incident happened around 10:50 today. The 56-year-old driver, driving a Honda, was moving along Angarskaya Street from Partizansky Prospekt in the direction of Baikalskaya Street. In the area of house No. 18/1 along Angarskaya Street, he lost control and ran into a lighting mast.

As a result of the incident, the driver was injured and was taken to a health facility.

According to preliminary information, the driver was intoxicated .

The state traffic inspectorate reminds drivers of the inadmissibility of driving vehicles after drinking alcohol.
