
January 20, MINSK. Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik held a working meeting with the HEAD of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg in Minsk after the talks between the Russian delegation and ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO, BelTA has learned.
“Although we are the westernmost point of the Union State and do not border on the Russian Federation, for our region it is the main trading partner. Perhaps the largest and most significant project of the SG is the Belarusian nuclear power plant, which is located on the territory of the Grodno region,” said Vladimir Karanik, addressing to the participants of the meeting. - From my point of view, we have established good partnerships. About 25 cooperation agreements have been signed with different regions of RUSSIA. We really hope that you will have the opportunity to visit the Grodno region. These are issues of heavy industry and equipment. There are also enterprises in our region that produce agricultural equipment,” the chairman of the Grodno regional executive committee emphasized.
"Thank you for the invitation to the forum, which will be held at the end of June. If we manage to come during this period, we will discuss all issues in more detail. Everything that you told us can form the basis of our agreement. Now our priority is agriculture Your experience in MILK processing will be invaluable to us," Vladislav Khovalyg stressed.

In addition, Vladislav Khovalyg and Vladimir Karanik identified priority areas for the development of cooperation. They concern the issues of expanding the product range of mutual deliveries, cooperation between industrial enterprises, in the field of agriculture, tourism, sanatorium and HEALTH treatment, healthcare and culture. Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
In January-November 2021, the trade turnover between Belarus and the Republic of Tyva amounted to $47.5 thousand. The basis of supplies from our republic was the supply of machines and devices for lifting, moving, loading or unloading, ferrous metal structures, corsetry and women's knitwear.
