December 9, Grodno. A new workshop for thickening and drying dairy products has been opened at the Grodno enterprise Molochny Mir , BelTA has learned.

“This is another, albeit small, step towards increasing the depth of processing of our agricultural products. We strive to ensure that there is no waste production. added value. This is part of the development strategy. We see that our MILK production is increasing, which is an increase of 4% compared to last year. According to the order of the President, a large-scale project for the construction of new complexes has been launched, and we plan that milk production will increase annually. And we must introduce at a faster pace almost every year projects that increase the possibilities of milk processing," said Vladimir Karanik, chairman of the Grodno regional executive committee.

He also emphasized the significance of the project in terms of international cooperation. "This is an indicator that international cooperation, even in the face of sanctions and instability, with the will and desire from both sides, can be implemented in such wonderful projects. We are very grateful to our Slovak, Czech, Bulgarian partners that the project was implemented within the strictly specified time frame of each of parties," Vladimir Karanik said.

In turn, Radoslav Masaryk, commercial DIRECTOR of the equipment supplier from Slovakia, noted that the equipment meets all modern requirements. "We try to adhere to all progressive methods in our development. This is done in order to ensure high-quality, uninterrupted operation and obtain a high-quality product, which is milk powder . The process is fully automatic, it is controlled by the operator. Our plans include deliveries to the city of Kopyl, where similar equipment has been installed, as well as in the city of Lida. We are interested in staying on the Belarusian market," said Radoslav Masaryk.

Thanks to the opening of a new workshop, new jobs appeared in the production: 46 people were employed. As specified at the enterprise, these are highly intelligent, trained specialists. With the opening of the new workshop, productivity will increase: from 12 tons per day to 40 tons. “The Republic of Belarus has long resolved the issue of its food security. ) is an opportunity to provide protein and milk to countries of a distant arc that really experience food problems, it is an opportunity to feed people. And the less irresponsible politicians interfere with us, the better for everyone," Vladimir Karanik concluded.
