By the end of 2024, the authorities plan to receive additionally up to 30,000 tons of dairy products per year at newly commissioned facilities.

Production capacity continues to increase. In 2022, the investment project will be completed by the Makfa company. The processors will build a logistics complex, install a mill and two new pasta production lines. The regional government allocated 313 million rubles for the purchase of new equipment for farmers. By July 1, 1.2 billion rubles of subsidies will be brought to agricultural enterprises. Another support measure was the zeroing of the unified agricultural tax for companies that retain the number of jobs.

The efforts of the authorities are aimed at maintaining the potential and its development in line with the policy of import substitution. The Russian government has taken action in response to economic sanctions imposed by a number of countries. The restrictions were the result of the start of a special operation in Ukraine.
