Over 400 tons of goods subject to veterinary supervision were imported from China through the Zabaikalsk checkpoint.

RUSSIA imported 299 tons of animal products from CHINA , including 34 tons of feed additives, 117.5 tons of fish and fish products, 112 tons of pharmaceuticals, and 35 tons of edible beef gelatin. Inspections were carried out on 104 tons of goods under Group 29 of the HS Code, declared for use as feed additives.

Specialists from the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR office in Transbaikalia note a 1.5-fold increase in the import of regulated products compared to March 2023 (267 tons).

The entire range of products subject to state veterinary supervision complies with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Eleven consignments of controlled goods exported from Russia to China were also inspected: 68 tons of ice cream, 20 tons of poultry, and 39 tons of washed sheep wool. The exported products were shipped by road in compliance with the veterinary legislation of the importing country.
