Kaliningrad has always been considered a fish city, but over the past nine years, not a single price position from the fish assortment has decreased or stopped growing. Thus, the cost of delicacy salmon fillets generally increased 4.3 times: from 580 rubles to 2,500 rubles per kilogram.
The second anti-record was set by chicken MEAT . Today, the price of breast fillet has approached the cost of red fish steaks at the time of the introduction of sanctions against RUSSIA - 430 rubles per kilo, an increase of 1.8 times.
According to Kaliningradstat, in June the average price per kilogram of chilled and frozen chicken meat in the region rose to 197.3 rubles. The price has doubled in a year.
In mid-July, the Ministry of Agriculture reported: despite the growth in production in Russia, the price of chicken meat increased by 6% over the year.
As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, in July, potatoes added 59.26% in price per month and began to cost 58 rubles per kilogram. This root crop is the leader among the food products that have risen in price the most in a month. Along with potatoes, the price of carrots and beets has risen - by 25.82% and 13.43%, respectively, a kilogram of these vegetables can be bought for 99 and 38 rubles.
