The Chelyabinsk company "Myasnoy region" was able to increase production by 25%

The Chelyabinsk company "Meat Region" was able to increase production by 25% and save more than half a million rubles thanks to participation in the national project "Labor Productivity". This was reported in the industry development fund of the Chelyabinsk region.

“When joining the national project, we knew about the various preferences that its participants receive, and, of course, we also wanted to take advantage of them. But already in the process, we realized that these benefits would be a pleasant bonus for us, because the main effect is provided by the lean manufacturing tools themselves. Enterprises often do not notice that there are problems and shortcomings on their sites that slow down all processes. So it was with us. When the expert drew our attention to these shortcomings, I personally became afraid that they could no longer be corrected, ”said Elena Valeeva, General DIRECTOR of the MEAT Region organization.

After diagnostics, more than 160 problems were found in the pilot stream for the production of pork meat. In particular, the following were identified: inefficient use of equipment, lack of address storage and control of product acceptance between departments, financial losses, non-serial shipment, and much more.

Also, participation in the training programs "Process Factory" helped to reduce work in progress by 31%.

The national project "Labor Productivity" is designed to create conditions for an annual increase in labor productivity in the country by 5%. A set of measures has been developed to help businesses, including financial incentives and expert advice on the operation of enterprises. National projects initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin started in 2019.
