The HEAD of the Stavropol branch of Rosselkhoztsentr Andrey Oleinikov spent a working day on the road in the Novoaleksandrovsky district. Viktor Dubina, Chairman of the SPK collective farm "Rodina", showed the fields of the farm, where an assessment was made of the state of winter crops - wheat and rapeseed.

Crops for semi-fallow and forerunner winter wheat are in the best condition, fields for corn and sunflower look somewhat worse.

“In general, the state of winter crops is assessed as good and satisfactory. We see their confident development and a good supply of moisture in the fields,” said the head of the regional branch.

The Novoaleksandrovsky collective farm "Rodina" is the flagship of the agricultural industry of the Stavropol Territory. For 20 years, the main income of the farm has been the crop industry. Farmers grow wheat, barley, peas, sunflowers, corn, beets, soybeans, potatoes, gourds, vegetables, grapes and berries.

In addition, Rodina develops animal husbandry and processing, and pays special attention to improving the quality of life of local residents.
