Petras Čepkauskas, a representative of the Pricer.lt portal, said that on Easter, residents usually buy salads, herring, pastries, MEAT products, the first fresh vegetables and eggs. it is impossible to imagine Easter without eggs. "If you look at a cheaper alternative - white eggs - this year they cost 89 cents, and last year they cost 69 cents. These eggs have risen in price by 29%, and eggs in general - by 40%," Chepkauskas said. According to him, this year's Easter will be the most expensive in the last five years.

Pricer.lt in March estimated price changes for 52 products. Sunflower oil has risen in price most of all, the cheapest - pasta, sour cream, potatoes, MILK , black bread. As the HEAD of the Pricer.lt portal Arunas Vizicka said earlier, this year the Easter table will cost a third more than last year. "As for eggs, last year, during the promotion, eggs of size M cost 69 cents, now they are almost a euro. Herring has risen in price by 40%, potatoes - by 50%.
