MINSK . Unsafe batches of food products were withdrawn from circulation, BELTA reports with reference to the Republican Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public
HEALTH.
In order to ensure the protection of consumer rights in terms of the safety of certain food products for the life and health of the population, the sanitary and epidemiological service on an ongoing basis implements a set of measures to suppress the circulation of unsafe food products.
Based on the results of the operational actions taken, the state sanitary inspection bodies and institutions removed unsafe batches of food products from circulation. Among these, in particular, were chocolate wafers “Blagalorushka” (
RUSSIA ). The product contains a preservative (sorbic acid), information about which is not included in the labeling. A similar situation concerns candied kumquat (
CHINA ) and candied papaya “Cubes Mix” (Thailand) - dyes were identified here, information about which was not included in the labeling.
The product "Dried yellow grapes 1st grade" (
Uzbekistan ) contains a preservative (sulfur dioxide), and the fruit and berry natural semi-sweet red low-alcohol pomegranate wine "Ayrum" (Armenia) contains a dye, and this information was also not indicated.
The circulation of natural canned fish cod liver (Russia) was stopped because parasite larvae were found on the surface of liver pieces.
Found in the quick-frozen vegetable mixture "Mexican" TM GUSTO (
Poland ) and the quick-frozen vegetable mixture "Hawaiian", "Mexican" (Russia), dried dates with pits (Tunisia)

And the permissible content of the toxic element "cadmium" was exceeded in batches of sunflower kozinaki "Eastern sweets" like caramel, produced by two Russian manufacturers.
