In Brest, a patient attacked a paramedic with a knife

January 26, Brest. In the city hospital of Brest, a patient attacked a paramedic with a knife, BelTA learned from the police department of the regional executive committee.

The incident took place on the afternoon of January 23rd. A 27-year-old Brest resident turned to the emergency room of the hospital. According to the man, he injured himself at home, breaking a glass door with his foot. After examining the patient, the doctors came to the conclusion that the wound must be sewn up. For some reason, the patient did not like this conclusion: he took out a knife, began waving it in front of the emergency room staff and threatening to kill the 22-year-old paramedic of the ambulance brigade.

The militiamen who have arrived on a call have detained the violent patient. According to the results of the examination, he was in a state of alcoholic intoxication (1.4 ppm). His actions were given a legal assessment, a criminal case was initiated for especially malicious hooliganism.
