More than half of the arable land in the southernmost region of the Tomsk region is cultivated by four large farms: Dubrovskoye, Podsobnoye, Voronovskoye, and the Letyazhye farm.
61 thousand hectares in the Kozhevnikovsky district will be sown with grain crops, 13 thousand with fodder and 10 thousand with oilseeds. According to Maxim Karpachev, the HEAD of the department for socio-economic development of the village of the administration of the Kozhevnikovsky district, the land has been prepared for the sowing campaign since last year, autumn and fallow tillage has been carried out.
“For the new season, agricultural producers purchased 10.5 tons of mineral fertilizers, which is 0.5 tons more than last year. We purchased 650 tons of seeds of the highest categories, the fleet of vehicles has been updated and prepared in general by 80%,” Maxim Karpachev said.
Every year Voronovskoye is the first to start spring field work in the region. The readiness of the economy for the sowing season is already 95%. In 2020 and 2021, Voronovsky’s machine operators were already working in the fields in April. “This year, the company plans to increase the quality and yield due to more accurate sowing, which will be provided by an automated seeding control system in sowing complexes,” said Alexei Ivanov, chief engineer of the farm.
There are 15 pieces of equipment in the park of the enterprise, including heavy tilled equipment - domestic K-744 and K-742, a new sowing complex. Also this year, the farm purchased a new modern RSM-161 combine, which will increase both the quality and speed of harvesting.
“In 2020, we launched a new grain drying complex, plans for 2022 include the reconstruction of the old grain drying complex, the acquisition of new equipment and the optimization of technologies,” said Alexey Ivanov.
