In 2021, the number of thefts from offices increased by 5.7% in Novosibirsk compared to 2020, when 145 cases of theft were recorded. At the same time, the detection of such crimes increased by 52%. This was reported to RBC Novosibirsk in the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The largest number of thefts from offices over the past year occurred in the Leninsky (33) and Central (26) districts of Novosibirsk. The smallest number was recorded in Dzerzhinsky (12) and Zheleznodorozhny (9) districts.
Most often, money, mobile phones and laptops become the prey of intruders.
