The Ministry of Emergency Situations called two versions of the fire in the Yaroslavl hospital

Sergey Milovanov, Deputy NGU EMERCOM of RUSSIA for the Yaroslavl Region, said during a briefing that among the causes of a fire in a hospital in the region are considered: violation of the rules for operating electrical appliances and carelessness when smoking.
Earlier, TASS and RIA Novosti, citing sources, reported that the cause of the fire was an unswitched boiler, which ignited the mattress.
However, this version was not confirmed in the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to Milovanov, the last check in the hospital was in April this year. Then the supervisory authorities revealed 23 violations of fire safety rules: including those related to fire protection systems, warnings, violations in the organization of evacuation routes.

Earlier it was reported that the fire broke out on the second floor of the therapeutic department of the hospital, located at: st. Mayakovsky, 61, building 2. The building itself is three-story, brick. A mattress caught fire in one of the rooms.
