"Today, the city remains low coverage of vaccination of the population," - said at a meeting in the mayor's office of Kazan acting. Ramil Mukhamatdinov, HEAD of the HEALTH department of Kazan.
According to him, 367.9 thousand people or 37.7% of the adult population were vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS in the capital of Tatarstan. Taking into account those who have been ill, the share of citizens with immunity is about 45%. To achieve collective immunity, the DOCTOR said, it is necessary to vaccinate 80% of the townspeople.
“Given the current vaccination rate, we will be able to achieve this coverage by November 2022,” Mukhamatdinov said.
At the same time, from October 8 to 10, when it became known about the introduction of QR codes and other restrictions, the number of vaccinated people increased significantly: from 1.5 thousand to 4 thousand per day. According to Mukhamatdinov, the capacity of vaccination stations in the capital of Tatarstan is 10,000 vaccinations per day.
Mukhamatdinov noted that students from the Medical Academy, Kazan Medical University and the Medical College were sent to outpatient clinics to help doctors.
