The trend began in early March This year apartments were most in demand at the end of February

The rush demand for the purchase of apartments, which was noted by developers at the end of February, began to decline.

So, according to the information of the federal development company "Brusnika", a surge in demand fell on the period from 24 to 28 February.

“The number of armors has significantly exceeded the typical daily figure. But in the first days of March, everything went wrong. The sharp increase in mortgage rates obviously has a negative impact on demand,” the company’s press service told RBC Tyumen.

However, some developers are talking about maintaining demand at the same level.

“90% of our product is the affordable housing segment. Despite the general trends in the real estate market, we do not observe a decline in demand for apartments in this niche today. I don’t see any point in predicting further developments, the key role here will be played by the size of the interest rate of the Central Bank and the level of approval of mortgage products from banks,” said Tatiana Mirsaitova, Marketing DIRECTOR of the developer Meridian.
