What days and where became non-working
When announcing non-working days at the federal level (from October 30 to November 7), President Vladimir Putin immediately stipulated that this period could be extended locally. According to him, the decision should be made by the regions themselves on the basis of existing powers.
In Russia, the number of CORONAVIRUS infections has been growing for weeks, and there has been a record increase in deaths. Indicators almost every day set new records. Over the past 24 hours, 37,141 new cases of covid-19 infections were detected across the country , 1,064 people died. Doctors say that the situation with coronavirus is close to critical. In a number of regions, hospitals have already run out of places for patients with COVID-19. With the help of non-working days, the authorities hope to break the chain of spread of the disease.
To date, 49 out of 85 subjects have determined the exact dates of non-working days. In the Oryol region, non-working days are introduced from October 30 to November 7, but only for higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, kindergartens and catering establishments with unvaccinated employees.
In 39 regions (and the Oryol region with partially non-working days - RBC) they will completely coincide with the federal ones, and in ten, including in Moscow and the Moscow region, they will begin ahead of schedule.
