The new restrictions came into force on October 31, 2024. The largest number of drugs on this list are registered in Kyrgyzstan - 276 items. The prohibited products include antibiotics , antiparasitic and anti-inflammatory drugs, wound treatment products and food additives. The geography of production is extensive and covers countries such as Spain, Italy , Turkey , the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Ukraine , China , India, Israel and Jordan. The list also includes six feed additives registered in Kazakhstan, including products of American and British manufacture. These measures are taken in accordance with the Decision of the EEC Council, which allows EAEU member countries to impose bans on veterinary drugs registered in other states of the union.
