Such achievements are possible thanks to a comprehensive approach in the industry. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food provides advisory assistance to agricultural organizations, and oversight activities aimed at preventing livestock mortality have been established. Information on identified violations and deficiencies is sent to regional and district executive committees and agricultural organizations. Specialists submit proposals on the need for systematic work to ensure the safety of cattle , compliance with technological discipline at all stages of livestock production, etc.

"To prevent the emergence of animal diseases and conduct systematic work to prevent the importation and spread of infections, the State Veterinary Service constantly conductssampling and their diagnostic studies . "Belarus' veterinary services are closely monitoring global trends in animal diseases, working to prevent outbreaks of focal infections in other countries, and carefully monitoring the epizootic situation to prevent the introduction of particularly dangerous infections, including those common to humans and animals," the department explained.

Thus, special kits for timely diagnostics, as well as disinfectants, have been allocated from the reserve fund of veterinary drugs. This year, 33 disinfection units based on the GAZ C41R13 vehicle chassis were purchased for all district veterinary stations in the Mogilev region, as well as for district veterinary stations in the Vitebsk and Gomel regions.

Outbreaks of African swine fever have been recorded in some countries. Thus, since the beginning of 2024 , according to the World Organization for Animal HEALTH, outbreaks of ASF have been officially registered in Poland - 1,722, Romania - 360, Ukraine - 80, Hungary - 348.
