July 10,
MINSK . The State Control Committee of the Brest Region inspected rural retail outlets in the Kamenets District. The availability and quality of products in five stores were examined, the State Control Committee told BELTA
. The
inspection revealed non-compliance with the mandatory product list (
MILK, eggs, and certain household and industrial goods were not available in a number of stores), improper storage conditions for vegetables (they were on the floor and without undercounter shelves, and the storage temperature was not maintained), unsanitary condition of retail equipment, and more. In addition, facts of selling expired products were established. About 10 kg of poor-quality bakery and
MEAT products were removed from sale. The expiration dates of some of them were 14 days overdue.
Based on the results of the inspections, order was restored in the retail outlets and the violations were eliminated. The Kamenets District Executive Committee was informed of the inspection results to ensure high-quality service to residents.
