August 12, MINSK. in Minsk was not initially included in the schedule of the President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO, but the HEAD of state arrived at the enterprise unplanned, thereby responding to signals from citizens about the alleged shortage of certain types of dairy products on store shelves. This was told to journalists by the press secretary of the Belarusian leader Natalya Eismont, BelTA has learned.
"The event in the President's schedule for everyone arose very spontaneously. Initially, a completely different format was proposed - an inspection of the harvesting campaign. The traditional format is an inspection of a field, possibly a dairy complex. But the harvesting campaign is in full swing. And in this regard, of course, everything well, everything is under constant control of the President. Therefore, the President decided to dedicate the event to the topic of MILK processing. The thing is that the President hears the signals that come from Minsk from the residents of the capital in the capital, there is a shortage of dairy products, and in particular whole-milk products," said Natalya Eismont.
Thus, the President reacted to these signals and came to one of the factories, which provides the capital with milk, to see how things really are.“I want to say right away and in this case I want to emphasize that the President did not see any problems with supplying the capital with milk and whole-milk products. Just as there are no and will not be problems with supplying the domestic market of Belarus with any food products in general, be it MEAT, fish or milk," the spokeswoman said.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka drew attention to other problems, which are also allegedly being discussed. These are spare parts for equipment in the dairy industry, the availability of packaging materials. “In this regard, there are also no serious, problematic issues. Everything is working. Moreover, tough tasks were set for both the Minister of Agriculture and other responsible officials to ensure the Belarusian production of these components, spare parts and packaging by the end of the year. Of course, these tasks will be completed," Natalya Eismont assured.
