An increase in prices for a number of dairy products has been agreed, the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus reported.

As noted, this is carried out in order to compensate for the increase in costs for the production (import) and (or) sale of MILK and dairy products. The Commission on State Regulation of Pricing under the Council of Ministers agreed to raise prices for the entire range of milk, kefir, sour cream, fat cottage cheese, low-fat cottage cheese, hard, semi-hard cheese, animal butter to legal entities of all forms of ownership and individual entrepreneurs engaged in production (import) and ( or) the sale of these products on the domestic market, in an amount not exceeding 4.9% (depending on the assortment and organization) in relation to prices as of February 28, 2021.

The specified price increase can be carried out by the designated entities until August 31, 2021.
