In May, Rosselkhoznadzor approved more than 95 applications for the transportation of animals outside of Tatarstan.

The agency has granted permission to EXPORT animals to regions such as Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Mari El, Udmurtia, as well as to the Ryazan, Saratov, Orenburg, Moscow, Kirov, Voronezh regions, and the Perm and Krasnodar territories.

The largest number of requests came from cattle owners: approximately 4,200 HEAD were inspected during this period. Three horses, 2,500 pigs, and 260,000 hatching eggs were also inspected for export. In one case, the administration was forced to deny approval for a route due to special regionalization requirements and a lack of necessary information about the sender or recipient.

In accordance with the order of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture dated December 13, 2022, on veterinary regulations, all animals were provided with veterinary accompanying documents containing information about their origin and the veterinary and sanitary status of the farm. Starting September 1, 2024 , marking of cattle , horses, pigs, and poultry will become mandatory in accordance with the latest Russian Government Resolution. The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance ( ROSSELKHOZNADZOR) is actively monitoring the timely entry of animal culling and vaccination data into the relevant electronic systems.
