
Epizootic foci of small cattle pox and African swine fever have been registered in the Ivanovo region.
An outbreak of sheep and goat pox was registered in the village of Ivantsevo, Furmanovsky district. The virus has infected animals in a personal subsidiary farm, where measures are being taken to localize the epizootic focus and prevent the spread of infection.
The signal about the death of pigs in a personal subsidiary farm was received by the Unified Duty Dispatch Service (EDDS) from the village of Lebyazhy Lug, Ivanovsky District. The diagnosis of ASF was confirmed by specialists of the veterinary service of the Ivanovo region, which is preparing materials for establishing quarantine.
According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 22 people and 16 pieces of equipment will be involved in the aftermath of the outbreak.
