In the Altai Territory, Rosselkhoznadzor found listeria in meat products from Kazakhstan

Research conducted in an accredited laboratory under the supervision of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR showed that this bacterium can cause a serious infectious disease - listeriosis, which affects the central NERVOUS SYSTEM and reproductive organs of humans and animals.

In connection with the discovery of these violations, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration took immediate measures to inform recipients of the products for their withdrawal from circulation. Also on January 29, a decision was made to change the status of the manufacturer in the Register of the Customs Union to "enhanced laboratory control".

In 2024 , Rosselkhoznadzor specialists in the Altai Territory tested 145 samples of livestock products and found discrepancies in 15 of them, including the presence of listeria and salmonella in MEAT products from Kazakhstan.
