“Eleven beginning farmers in the Sverdlovsk region will receive grants of up to seven million rubles. 75.3 million rubles will be allocated from the regional and federal budgets from the regional and federal budgets for the development of dairy and MEAT livestock farming, as well as for the development of pedigree sheep farming under the Agrostartup program,” the statement says.

it is noted that one of the main conditions for providing a grant is the farmer’s willingness to co-finance at least 10% of the project cost. Also, agreements will be concluded with grant recipients for five years, according to which they plan to implement their business projects and achieve targets for meat or MILK production.

Beginning farmers can use the received grant to purchase land, develop a construction or reconstruction project, renovate premises, connect to networks, purchase animals, purchase planting material or equipment.

The "Agrostartup" competition is held by the regional Ministry of Agriculture with the support of the Sverdlovsk Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives."
