Rosselkhoznadzor allows supplies from five poultry farms in the Netherlands

The situation with highly pathogenic avian influenza in Europe, according to the German Friedrich Loeffler Institute (Germany), is recognized as the most intense since the creation of the EU.
If last year 205 epizootic foci were registered in the Netherlands, then since the beginning of this year - 60. During the aftermath in the provinces of North Brabant and North Holland, the entire livestock was destroyed - more than 200 thousand.
ROSSELKHOZNADZOR maintains continuous contacts with the authorized departments of the EU countries to ensure the supply of the necessary volumes of genetic material for poultry farmers.
Having studied the guarantees provided by foreign colleagues, the Russian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service decided to resume the supply of hatching eggs and day-old chicks from territories remote from the hotbeds of highly pathogenic avian influenza.
