The Krasnodar Territory makes a significant contribution to the food security of Russia

Speaking with a report, Mikhail Mishustin noted the successes of the Russian agricultural industry.

– Growth dynamics – over 10%. The level of food security in RUSSIA is one of the most reliable in the world. We supply domestic demand in excess with grain, SUGAR, vegetable oil, MEAT and fish. Such a grain harvest, as last year, did not happen in Soviet times, 157 million tons - this is a huge success for our agricultural industry! There are also new records in terms of oilseeds. An increase is seen in meat, potatoes, greenhouse vegetables, and fruits. Russia continues to develop the agricultural industry, expanding its own production base in key areas. About 450,000 hectares of land were returned to agricultural circulation following the results of last year. In total, the amount of financing for the agro-industrial complex last year exceeded 420 billion rubles. This approach has made it possible to increase funding for rural areas in order to improve the quality of life of people on the ground. New housing was erected, roads were built, and, accordingly, landscaping work was carried out. Veniamin Kondratiev noted that the Krasnodar Territory makes a significant contribution to Russia's food security and remains its reliable guarantor.

- Kuban ranks first in the country in terms of agricultural production - last year it was produced for 660 billion rubles. Gross grain harvest exceeded 15.7 million tons, almost 2 million tons of oilseeds were harvested. A record harvest of fruits, berries and grapes, we are leading in the production of MILK and eggs. We will continue to work in this direction,” wrote Veniamin Kondratiev on social networks.

In 2022, the processing enterprises of the Kuban increased the production of sugar, FLOUR and butter from 8 to 38%, prepared 1.6 million tons of sugar, which is 320 thousand tons more than in 2021. The volumes of production of flour, cereals, confectionery, canned meat also increased.
