All suppliers of manufacturers of multi-ingredient products must also have an EU export attestation

The European Union has clarified the new rules for the supply of composite (composite) products to the EU. One of them concerns Russian enterprises that produce products of animal origin and then send them to other domestic companies for the manufacture of multi-ingredient products.

European colleagues confirmed to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR that such Russian enterprises also need to be certified to EXPORT their products to the European Union. This rule applies not only to the Russian Federation, but also to all other countries, representatives of the Directorate General of HEALTH and Food Security of the Commission of the European Union (DG SANTE) specified.

Recall that until April 21, the requirements for the import of composite products into the EU depended on the percentage of components of animal origin included in its composition. Certification was subject only to those goods, in which they exceeded half. After the adoption of the new EU Regulation, all goods containing components of animal origin became subject to veterinary control. Moreover, products with stable storage conditions (not requiring maintaining a certain temperature) must be accompanied by certificates signed by representatives of importing organizations (private attestation). With unstable storage conditions - a veterinary accompanying document signed by the state veterinarian. For products containing MEAT ingredients, the latter requirement is mandatory, regardless of the storage conditions of the product.

Rosselkhoznadzor will send a request to European colleagues about the conditions for certification and export of composite products, the shelf life of which depends on the storage temperature.

Thanks to electronic veterinary certification, scheduled inspections are not needed

The service also asked Russian suppliers of composite goods to inform them of all the difficulties that arise during the transportation of goods in order to contribute to their speedy resolution.
